NaExploring post-transcriptional regulation in the context of a cell differentiation process (EMT)

We have found that a microRNA that acts as a master regulator of epithelial to mesenchymal transition impacts not only directly on its mRNA targets ; but indirectly affects alternative splicing and transcription. I will discuss the bioinformatic approaches we have been using to understand the extent and outcomes of these regulatory aspects. This includes our use of Exon-Intron Split Analysis (EISA) as a tool to distinguish transcriptional from post-transcriptional events.;Actual location : Davis Auditorium
